Despite the actress’s tendency to keep her personal life private and her silence on the rumors, a source disclosed to Zimoja that the rumors about the couple’s separation were indeed true. The source revealed that Mtoba and Meyer are on the path to divorce. Furthermore, it was revealed that The River actress, known for her role as Nomonde Dikana, has found new love in the arms of an unnamed wealthy businessman. The new couple was reportedly seen together at the businessman’s birthday party held at a luxury restaurant in Sandton, where they appeared to be very much in love. Protecting Her Husband from Fame

Mtoba married Meyer in 2017 after dating for six years. They held their traditional wedding in KwaZulu-Natal. Two years later, they welcomed their daughter, affectionately referred to as “Bean” by the actress. Despite having shared a few pictures of her husband in the past, Mtoba rarely posts images of him on her social media platforms and they are seldom seen together at events. She explained this by saying, “My husband didn’t choose a life of fame and it is my job to shield him from that. I am unapologetically selfish when it comes to my husband and I value the sanctity of our life together and I want to protect that,” in an interview with Nounouche in November last year.
