Contract Termination and Apology

Unfortunately, Ngiba’s contract was reportedly terminated following a viral incident involving a security guard. In a video, Ngiba allegedly insulted the guard, who earned R4,000. Later, she issued an apology, acknowledging her mistake and expressing remorse. Ngiba emphasized that she does not harbor any ill feelings toward others and regrets any unintended offense.

Other Departures from ‘Umkhokha’

Ngiba joins a list of actors bidding farewell to Umkhokha: The Curse. Previously, Mbuso Khoza (who portrayed Babu Maphalala) and Pinky Ntshangase (who played MaZungu) also left the show. Here are the details:

  • Mbuso Khoza: The actor and musician decided to focus on his new venture—the soon-to-be-launched Ndabezitha podcast. This podcast aims to address cultural issues, particularly those affecting the Zulu community.
  • Pinky Ntshangase: Entertainment commentator Jabu Mcdonald confirmed that Ntshangase will not be part of Umkhokha season two.
