Angela Sithole Biography

Angela Sithole embarked on her acting career in 2015 when she secured her first major role as Terry Ramotsetsi on the Mzansi Magic soap opera Zabalaza. Terry, a PR guru, was a complex character searching for love in all the wrong places. Angela’s portrayal of this charismatic character impressed both viewers and critics.

Rising Fame

In 2016, Angela landed her second major role as Tai Chi or Angel on the eKasi Plus drama series Hustle. She played a young and ambitious singer who was part of a girl group striving to make it big in the music industry. Angela showcased her singing and dancing skills, as well as her ability to handle emotional scenes.

In 2017, Angela joined the cast of the Mzansi Magic drama The Queen, where she played Onica, a seductive and manipulative woman entangled in a love triangle. She appeared in four seasons of the show and earned praise for her villainous role.

In 2020, Angela replaced Buhle Samuels as Zandile Majola on the e.tv soapie Imbewu: The Seed. Zandile was a gold digger who targeted Nkululeko Bhengu, a wealthy businessman. Angela brought a new twist to the character and added more drama to the show.

In 2021, Angela joined the cast of the SABC2 telenovela Lithapo, where she played Zano, a young woman caught between two men from different worlds. She also appeared in other shows, such as Savage Beauty and Lingashoni. In April 2023, she joined the etv series Smoke And Mirrors as Nthabiseng.
