In 2007, Poo showcased his versatility by playing the romantic lead in the stage musical “Soweto Story” and later took on the role of Tom Collins in the musical “Rent.” He also portrayed the character of documentary maker Themba in the SABC1 drama series “Usindiso (Redemption)” from December 2007 to March 2008.
