He was responding to fans’ comments on a behind-the-scenes video he shared with actress Lerato Marabe, who plays his on-screen love interest, Pretty.

Viral Video Sparks Dating Rumors

The video of Fourie and Marabe became viral on Monday, 15 January, leading viewers to speculate that the two were dating in real life. Fourie responded to these rumors with a dismissive comment: “Nywe nywe (blah blah) I’d never date an actor/actress as if they’d date you in the first place. Shut the f**k up and focus on your types ke. Y’all can’t even manage your own relationships with your families!” Marabe also responded to the viral video on the same day, simply writing; “Waka” (mine).

Fan Reactions to Fourie’s Comments

Fans of Skeem Saam had mixed reactions to Fourie’s comments. Some users, like @Collen_KM, expressed fear, jokingly suggesting that Fourie might make them “vanish like Kgosi.” Others, like @YoTAle1 and @Jabulil56373977, urged Fourie to let them live and mind their own business. Meanwhile, @Neonel8 seemed confused by the controversy, stating that they thought Fourie and Marabe were cute together. Lastly, @sneRere4 mentioned that Lasizwe was found crying after the video dropped, adding another layer to the unfolding drama.
