Kwenzokuhle Ngcobo, known as Kwenzo Ngcobo, is a 32-year-old South African actor born in 1990 in Port Shepstone, KZN. He is a graduate of Drama from the Durban University of Technology.

Career Initiation

Kwenzo’s career in acting was sparked at a young age by his father, who nurtured his love for film by renting movies for him. He participated in Sunday School plays to hone his acting skills. After taking a gap year to decide on his career path, he enrolled in drama at the Durban University of Technology. Upon completing his studies in 2011, he dedicated his career to theatre.

Television Appearances

Despite being a stage performer for a significant period, Kwenzo landed his debut television role on Imbewu, where he played the character Themba. His performance in this role showcased his acting prowess and led to him securing a role on The Wife, where he played the character Qhawe.

In The Wife, Kwenzo plays Qhawe, a dangerous taxi driver and a mastermind behind cash-in-transit heists. Qhawe is one of eight Zulu brothers, and Kwenzo executes this role flawlessly.
