Keletso Makgalwa

Mamelodi Sundowns, the reigning league champions, have reportedly parted ways with their talented striker, Keletso Makgalwa. This decision comes after months of speculation about Makgalwa’s future with the club. There were rumors that he might be heading for another loan stint. However, an agreement has been reached for Makgalwa to leave Sundowns and seek opportunities with a new football club.

Mutual Agreement for Mamelodi Sundowns and Keletso Makhalwa to Part Ways

Makgalwa had returned to Sundowns at the end of the 2022/23 DSTV Premiership season after spending the second round of the season on loan with Motsepe Foundation Championship side All Stars. His agent, Ntobatsi Masegela, confirmed the decision, stating that it was in the best interest of the player to seek more game time elsewhere. All necessary paperwork was signed before the transfer window closed.

Future Prospects for Makgalwa

Masegela is confident about finding a new team for Makgalwa soon, praising his quality and hard work. The agent had previously expressed the need for clarity from Sundowns about Makgalwa’s future. He emphasized the importance of finding a solution that would be favorable for all parties involved.

This move follows other recent transfers from Sundowns, including Lesedi Kapinga who joined Orlando Pirates, Andile Jali who moved to Moroka Swallows, and Surprise Ralani who is currently clubless.
