Marjorie was born in Mokopane, Limpopo, but she spent her formative years growing up in Kagiso, on the West Rand. She completed her primary education at St Ursula Convent in Krugersdorp and later returned to Limpopo for her high schooling at Capricorn High.

In real life, Marjorie is a quiet and somewhat shy individual. Despite her reserved nature, she is far from meek, possessing a strong and determined character.

Education and Early Career

Interestingly, Marjorie holds a degree in medical technology and spent six years of her life working as a microbiologist. She is also a qualified lab technician. However, her passion for acting led her to leave this profession after six years.

In addition to her role in Scandal!, Marjorie has played a variety of characters on television. She was a matron in Huis van Liefde season 1 and played Mampho in eKasi: Our Stories season 4. Furthermore, she played Kittie in the comedy drama Streets of Mangaung season 1 and portrayed Mrs Mkhize in Tshisa season 2.
