Nathaniel Ramabulana is a distinguished actor, writer, and director from South Africa. He is widely recognized for his role as Tendamudzimu in the TV show Muvhango. Ramabulana has also graced the screens in numerous local and renowned TV shows such as Isidingo, Home Affairs, and Askies!

Ramabulana, also known as Nat, was born on 16 March 1984 in Parkhurst, Gauteng, South Africa. As of 2022, he is 38 years old. He is of the Venda tribe and holds South African nationality. He is married to Odwa and they have three children.


The award-winning actor is a product of Greenside High School and later graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Dramatic Arts Honours degree.


Ramabulana is not only an actor but also a writer, and an emerging producer and director. His passion for acting was evident from a young age. His breakthrough came in 2006 when he starred as Sergent Hulk in the movie titled The Trail.


Ramabulana has an impressive list of acting credits. Ramabulana aspires to write, direct, and produce more in the future. One of his notable works as a writer is a play titled Hayani. He has also appeared in a commercial for Savannah, a local South African beer brand.

Family Life

Ramabulana is not just a successful actor, but also a devoted family man. According to his Facebook bio, he and his wife, Odwa, officially tied the knot on 31 March 2012. He has always been protective of his family, keeping their life private. However, he recently shared a picture of his wife on Instagram with a heartfelt caption, “The best things in life are better with you,” followed by a love emoji.

The couple is blessed with three children. In February 2019, Ramabulana’s fans got a glimpse of his lovely kids during an interview with Afternoon Express. However, he has chosen to keep their names private.
