Siya Raymond Sepotokele Biography
Born on 23 October 1996 in Orlando East, Soweto, Siya Raymond Sepotokele is the son of Shadrack Ta Sello Ntsibande and the late Phyllis Sepotokele. Despite his parents’ unemployment, they ensured that he had everything he needed. Siya’s upbringing around older people influenced his taste for music, and his talents became evident while he was in grade 6 at Sivuleleni Primary School, where he began singing.
Siya was not only talented in co-curricular activities but also excelled academically. At the age of 15, he earned a full scholarship from St. David’s Marist Inanda, a renowned private high school in Johannesburg. His first acting role was as Lehasa in the SABC2 telenovela Keeping Score in 2016. Tragically, his mother passed away two months after he landed the role due to cervical cancer.
