Thembisa Mdoda Announces Pregnancy

In her announcement, Thembisa humorously hinted at the changes that are about to come in her life. She wrote, “I’m not one to announce things so I’m just going to say ‘I’m going to need a bigger car and nappies, lots and lots of nappies’”. Thembisa, a three-time Safta winner, had taken a break from her career due to complications from Covid-19. However, she made a triumphant return in 2022. Reflecting on the past year in an interview with TshisaLIVE, she described it as a testament to her fighting spirit.

Thembisa shared that the hiatus was heartbreaking for her as she had to stop doing what she loved. However, she emphasized the importance of regaining her strength and health to continue her destined work.
